Direct To Garment (DTG)
Direct to Garment (DTG) printing is a breathtaking breakthrough in print technology which can not only accurately reproduce artwork such as photos and illustrations but reproduce the tiny intricate detailing and patterns of most full colour designs.
This method can be used on any colour garment including T-shirts, hoodies and sweatshirts. Moreover, there are no set up costs or minimum orders involved.
We are privileged to have the top of the range in Direct to Garment (DTG) printing machine from Kornit as we fully believe that our customers should always get superior results. Other inferior machines, do not allow or understand manipulation of artwork and do not achieve full vibrancy of colour or detailing of patterns and shading.
Design and Cost
For Direct to Garment (DTG) printing, artwork must be set to the intended print size, of a high resolution (300dpi), designed in CMYK and saved in vector or raster format in photoshop. This can then be saved as a Psd, PDF, Ai, Eps or jpg file.
Please note that, depending on the design, not all gradients and fades will print as they appear unless on a white t shirt. This is due to a white base layer that is required to be printed first on all coloured garments. However, we can assess the design and further advise on ways around this.
As Direct To Garment (DTG) is CMYK printing based fluorescent and metallic colours cannot be obtained.
